Share your assistant

Decide when an assistant is ready to share, and avoid launching before users can trust it.

What ready means

An assistant is ready when it can reliably help with one defined job for real users. It does not need to be perfect, but it should be useful and predictable.

Readiness checklist

Before sharing, confirm that:

  • the purpose is narrow and clear
  • the main sources are current
  • real prompts produce useful answers
  • the team understands what the assistant should not be used for
  • ownership of access and updates is clear

Signs to wait

Do not launch yet if the assistant only performs well on demo questions, if the source set is still unstable, or if nobody has tested edge cases.

After launch

Going live is not the end. Watch weak answers, improve the sources and examples, and retest the same prompt set.
